Recently, reporters visited Xinfeng Runfeng Food Co., Ltd., where baskets of sweet corn, bamboo shoots, and other raw materials were continuously sent to the fully automated production line. After processes such as pre-cooking, cooling, filling, sealing, and sterilization, they were transformed into cans of delicious vegetable preserves, ready to be shipped worldwide.
"These canned products have already been booked by overseas customers and will be shipped abroad immediately after passing inspection by the Longnan Customs," said Gao Guiyu, the person in charge of Xinfeng Runfeng Food Co., Ltd., pointing to the cans in the warehouse. The company mainly produces various vegetable preserves such as sweet corn and bamboo shoots, and due to the high quality and great taste of the products, they are popular in both domestic and international markets. "In recent years, Chinese canned food has been very popular overseas, and our company is currently working hard to expedite stock preparation. From January to May this year, we have exported over 4,900 tons of various vegetable preserves," Gao Guiyu said excitedly.
Seizing opportunities for high-quality vegetable preserve products to expand exports is an important topic of recent research conducted by Longnan Customs. Zhong Yiyong, deputy director of Longnan Customs, introduced: "Longnan Customs actively visits enterprises to promote customs policies, helping them stay informed about relevant foreign laws, regulations, and technical trade measures. We urge enterprises to control key production and processing links to ensure effective operation of hygiene standard procedures. We have implemented convenient measures such as priority inspection and sample testing to accelerate inspection and release speed, facilitating quick customs clearance for canned food and reducing storage costs for enterprises."
In addition, Longnan Customs has also utilized the newly launched local inspection system and the "cloud issuance" function for certificates to handle customs clearance for enterprises. Enterprises can achieve 24/7 appointment inspections and self-print certificates, which not only facilitates the enterprises but also improves customs efficiency and shortens clearance time.
From January to May this year, Ganzhou City has exported over 10,000 tons of various vegetable preserve products, a year-on-year increase of 103%. Next, Longnan Customs will further support relevant enterprises in making good use of various customs preferential policies, continuously promoting enterprises to expand production and increase efficiency, transform and upgrade, and help vegetable preserves continue to expand exports.
